Artist and Designer John Greg Ball was born in Calgary, Alberta in 1975. After working as a carpenter, Greg completed an Art and Design Diploma at Red Deer College, and a Bachelor of Design degree in Industrial Design/ Social Sciences at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. Greg was the President and a co-founder of the Industrial Designers of Edmonton Association from 2002-2004. In 2005, was the Chairman of MADE in Edmonton.
Adding his collaborative nature, and sense of humour to the design world, Ball is an award-winning designer. Experience includes: The hoodoo series with Shoko Cesar, product development for manufacturing, Architectural Interiors, Landscape Architecture + Urban design, contemporary furniture, and public art. Part of Industreal.it’s Dream collection (2007 Wallpaper Design award: best ceramic collection) 2007 at Salone del Moblile in Milan Italy, Maison Objet in Paris France.
Ball is also a Contributing editor at MoCo Loco and Motherbrand’s Canadian Design Resource.
